Julie Chen Moonves hosted the popular reality TV show in the summer of Big Brother which returned to CBS for its 22nd season on the 5th of August. Chen Moonves had been The Talk's first hosts, hosting and moderating the show since 2010 to the year 2018, when she was the host. It was only when she began writing that her passion for writing emerged. She won another Emmy for hosting an exceptional entertainment talk show. From 2002 until 2010, Chen Moonves was the co-host for CBS News' morning weekday broadcast The Early Show. Before that she was the CBS Morning News anchor and hosts for The Early Show. Chen Moonves was assigned to Cairo after the 9/11 attacks. In Cairo, she scoured down and interviewed the father who commanded hijackers to an eye-opening, fascinating interview. Chen Moonves has interviewed newsmakers including former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and the Queen Rania of Jordan, former Defence Secretary William Cohen, and celebrities such as Denzel Washington, Angelina Jolie, Kanye West, Taylor Swift, Viola Davis, Tom Hanks, Mary J. Blige, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Cruise, Ben Affleck, Barbra Streisand, Betty White, Jamie Foxx, Scarlett Johansson, Katie Holmes, Matthew McConaughey, Chris Rock, Mel Brooks, Robert DeNiro, and Jennifer Lopez. Chen Moonves covered the Emmy Award-winning CBS Sunday Morning News show. He also interviewed celebrities such as Jamie Lee Curtis or Paula Abdul. Prior to The Early Show he was the CBS affiliated station's reporter for New York City, WCBS. She worked as a producer for ABC NewsOne (1992-1995), the news affiliate of CBS, and she was an assistant desk in ABC News' Los Angeles bureau (1990-1991) as she completed her senior year at University of Southern California. Her first time working in broadcasting, as a desk assistant for ABC News' late-night show Nightline with Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is one of the journalists she admires. Chen Moonves worked with Koppel for the du-Pont-winning Columbia premiertime show, Anatomy of a Riot that examined the 1992 Los Angeles riots.
