Julie Chen Moonves is the host of Big Brother's 22nd season that premiered on CBS on August 5, 2018. Chen Moonves served as the moderator and one of the original hosts of The Talk. She won the Daytime Emmy Award for her work. However, her true passion came when she added writer to her duties, and was awarded an Emmy for her work. She also won an Emmy for hosting an outstanding entertainment talk program. She was co-hosting CBS News weekday morning show The Early Show between 2002 until 2010. Prior to that, she was the CBS Morning News anchor and hosts of The Early Show. Following the 9/11 attacks She was taken to Cairo and located the main hijacker's father for a riveting and fascinating interview. Chen Moonves interviewed celebrities such as Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. Also, she spoke to the former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani as well as Queen Rania. Chen Moonves has also worked at CBS's New York City station WCBS, as a reporter, anchor, and anchor (1997-1999). Before becoming a part of CBS News from 1995 Chen Moonves had been as a reporter at WDTN TV Dayton. Before joining CBS News, Chen Moonves was a journalist at WDTN-TV dayton (1995-1997). Also, she worked for ABC NewsOne from 1992-1995. She started her career as an assistant for ABC News, working on the late-night program Nightline together with Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is still one of Moonves' journalism idols. Chen Moonves was Koppel's co-worker on Anatomy of a Riot (the Premiertime Special of Columbia du-Pont that focused on the Los Angeles riots of 1992).
